A/N: several people have asked now what Jasper got Edward. Remember chapter 203, where Alice directs him to the customized portfolio? And in chapter 204, Jasper finds hand-carved wooden pens to go with them? That is his graduation/welcome home gift to Edward. All clear now? Cool. Let's keep on truckin' ;-)
Delve
Edward doesn't do things halfway. His first day at the shop, he and Rose are almost tied at the hip. Despite having worked here before, both in the shop and in the back with me, he asks questions.
Rose has put together a curriculum of sorts for him, earning her an eyeroll and a grin as he mutters, "And here I thought I was done with school."
She smacks him lightly on the chest, then calmly goes over everything. Between them they figure out what they need to focus most on.
Every time I see them huddled together, I smile.
